Thematic axes

Arts

A space to highlight the power of inspiration and the importance of current developments in the aesthetic field that, with approaches that can be both disruptive and emotional, vindicate artistic expression as an essential part of our identity. What are the messages that are being communicated from the arts in our country and in the world, and how are they doing it? Questions and answers from the breadth of proposals and the diversity of views of the visual and plastic arts, the performing arts and shows.

Culture

This is a space for themes and guests related to various material and immaterial goods, products, services, values and representations of culture, from different trades and practices. This slot seeks to open a local and global conversation, from contents that highlight a diversity of trends and distinctive characteristics of contemporary societies intellectually, economically and emotionally, from their cultural expressions and practices. In this space of the GFACCT will be present various types of creators, authors and performers who have become milestones of contemporary culture.

Creativity

The ability of human beings to invent or create is not only the raw material of their artistic and cultural expressions, but also a driving force for their individual and collective development. This space will showcase the various ways of thinking and acting from creativity, with a series of guests and themes that cover the arts and heritage, cultural and creative industries. Although this theme is as infinite as the capacity to create, on the GFACCT stage we will see the inspirational processes of renowned fiction authors, to the policies that today allow the development of "creative cities" around the world.

Technology

How are creative and cultural processes dialoguing with information, science and technology? This is the premise of a thematic axis that will try to gather vital proposals, which evidence both crossings of ecosystems and the linking of different disciplines, to approach several issues that determine our present and raise multiple possibilities for our future.

Economy, entrepreneurship and development

Colombia is one of the countries that places the cultural and creative sector at the center of its development plan. In resonance with the above, this section of the GFACCT programming outlines a series of contents dedicated to discovering the economic potential of these sectors, extending to topics related to entrepreneurship and innovation. This thematic axis will include world eminences in economics, industry and thought in relation to various issues that gravitate in our environment, as well as representatives of various sectors that stand out for their work in entrepreneurship and development, from the public and private sectors.

OUTSTANDING PLACES

The Ministry of Culture develops various spaces for thinking about the challenges and opportunities of the cultural and creative sector, with the aim of generating innovative work agendas and strategies that allow for highly transformative results for the future of the Orange Economy.

These thought tanks are developed in an articulated work with the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, the academic institution leading the methodological process.

In the multilateral agenda, 22 spaces are formulated with international organisations that work in coordination with the Ministry of Culture.

CIRCULART, a cultural market for music that is of great importance for the country and Latin America, will extend its scope to the performing arts.

Synergy between iNNNpulsa, Mincit and Mincultura to hold a business roundtable focused on innovation and the Orange Economy.
