The role of culture and creativity around the world: The contribution of indigenous peoples to Latin American cinema, a view from the Chirapaq Association of Peru.
With: Róger Rumrrill, President of the Chirapaq Association, Peru.
This is a space to reflect about the development and changes that indigenous cinema has had. It's evolution has allowed indigenous people to stop being the object of films, and instead get behind the cameras and produce a cinema that reflects their reality and makes use of their cosmocentric vision in order to develop their own stories. At the same time it calls for the consolidation of tools and spaces in order to disseminate and promote indigenous cinema around the world.
